Jian Yuan Tan is the CEO of LAM and has served in relationship management and credit analysis roles across a number of institutions, including HSBC, ANZ, and Standard Chartered Bank. His coverage has spanned mid to large cap companies, both local and international. He has experience in cash management, trade, markets and investment products.
Jian Yuan joined LAM in 2016 as an Executive Director, where he assisted the firm in obtaining its Capital Markets Services Licence. He currently oversees the business, provides oversight on compliance requirements, and aids the investment teams with opportunities across Asia, predominately in Singapore. He is on the investment and risk committees for several funds, that invest across a broad spectrum of asset classes.

Chuu-Ming is the Portfolio Manager of Digital Treasures Ventures Fund. He is a seasoned private equity professional with more than 20 years of industry experience, having worked in various private equity roles across several well-established institutions such as GIC Special Investments, Sycamore Ventures, Nomura International, Société Générale CIB and China Media Capital.
In addition to private equity work, Chuu-Ming had also led the Asia-Pacific M&A activities for IMS Health (now iQvia) for a few years. Before joining Lucerne Asset Management in 2022, Chuu-Ming was the MD for a single-family office in Hong Kong, where he led the investment team to evaluate, structure and execute private investments globally.
Chuu-Ming is a registered representative with MAS. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (2nd Upper Honours) from the National University of Singapore where he majored in Finance. In addition, he is also a CFA charter holder since 2013.
Mark has close to 20 years of combined experience as a capital market professional in the area of Corporate Finance, Investment Management and Stockbroking.
He has served roles in stock broking and Private Equity, Corporate Finance and VC and covered roles in business development, deal-sourcing, investment recommendations, post-acquisition integration, portfolio management and fundraising across Southeast Asia, USA, Australia and Europe.
He has a Master of Business Systems (MBS) & Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Economics) from Monash University, Australia.
Dr Chiang is the Portfolio Manager of the Spiking US Blue Whale Fund. He is an entrepreneur and engineer by trade with expertise in launching new companies and scaling start-ups in the technology and finance sectors to profitability. Dr Chiang is also an expert in financial technology and is a trusted advisor focused on designing, developing, and executing go-to-market strategies for innovative software solutions to enable data-driven investment decision-making at scale. He is the creator of Spiking, a social trading platform able to provide real-time information on trades made by sophisticated investors to help retail investors make better investment decisions with greater confidence based on previously inaccessible market knowledge. He is also an independent director of Travelite Holdings Ltd.
Dr Chiang has a Bachelor of Engineering from the Nanyang Technological University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville, and has a Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Canberra.
Ya Ping is the Portfolio Manager of Trade Real Investments, where she assesses investment opportunities across Asia and provides oversight on compliance requirements for the fund.
Her previous roles included relationship management and risk management while at DBS Bank and Taishin International Bank. She has also covered mid to large-cap multinational corporations, such as Temasek Holdings, WK Technology Fund, and Alibaba Group; and worked on international syndicated loans for investing in real estate, stock markets, and private investments.
She is an ACAMS member and provides advice on AML/KYC procedures. She holds a Masters of International Business from Durham University, United Kingdom.
Jack is the Portfolio Manager of the West Rain Fund. He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS), with a double major in mathematics and statistics, and has also attended Columbia University’s Value Investing Course, where Warren Buffett learned valuing investing. Mr Chu has been doing value investing for more than 10 years, and has developed a system which enables him to perform in-depth research that covers factors from industry analysis, competition analysis, management and risk controls of companies to provide an understanding of the underlying businesses that the fund will enter into, as well as to allow for the control of potential investment risks.
Jenny more than 30 years of experience in the finance and capital markets industry, and has vast knowledge in financial advisory, accounting, tax, investment analysis, and financial planning.
She started her career in Audit with Ernst & Young and later moved into finance. Her recent role as an executive director in a public listed company, involved fundraising, cash flow planning, and strategic planning. She has also been an equities analyst and a dealer in equities and futures with an Investment Bank. She has covered listed entities, assessing their performance based on fundamental analysis and technical charting to provide recommendations to corporate and individual clients.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Australia and is a Certified Practising Accountant of Australia, a Chartered Accountant, and a Certified Financial Planner of Malaysia.
Raymond is a seasoned finance and risk professional with over 20 years in corporate and financial services industry. He started his career as an actuary, and has had roles in insurance, rating agencies, financial advisors, fund management, technology startups and digital asset exchanges. His specialties include business strategy, financial modeling, product development, M&A, credit ratings, risk-based capital (RBC), governance, risk and compliance (GRC) as well as environment, social and governance (ESG).
Raymond was the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) for AIG Asia Pacific and Asia Capital Reinsurance Group from 2011 to 2014, before going on to found BRCA Consultancy in 2014 where he provided advisory on license application, balanced scorecard, business planning, internal audit and GRC. He was also the Regional Insurance Lead for Grab from 2016 to 2018. He was also the chairman of the RBC2 Taskforce working with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) on the development of RBC2 framework in the capacity of the Honorary Secretary of Singapore Actuarial Society from 2012 to 2020.
Vivian is an equity Analyst for West Rain Fund. She has over 10 years of investment experience covering equities, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange, with particular focus on technology, consumer staples and healthcare industries. She is a graduate from the Munich University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Business Administration. She is also the founder of a jewellery brand, which has helped her accumulate corporate management experience. She also assists the Fund with Business Development and speak Chinese, English and German.
Augie Ilag serves as CMT Digital’s Partner and Head of Asia through a partnership with Lucerne Asset Management & CMT. He was previously an investor with Sequoia Capital India + Southeast Asia where he spearheaded their crypto and blockchain investments in the region. Before Sequoia, Augie was with McKinsey & Company (Manila, Philippines and Bogotá, Colombia offices) serving emerging market clients on topics spanning operations, marketing and sales, organizational design, and strategy functions. He holds a BA and MS from Stanford University and was selected for Forbes 30 under 30 in 2022."
Chin Guan brings with him 11 years of accounting and finance experience in the asset management industry. He had a long tenure and held senior positions in fund management entities wholly owned by Temasek Holdings. His coverage spans across Investment Funds, Corporate and Trust entities. He was responsible for management reporting, financial reporting as well as the full set of accounts under his portfolio. He gained amalgamation exposure arising from the business combination event which took place during his time there.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (Honours) from the University of London.
